Larry V. Rowe

ROWE, Larry V., 76 of Urbana, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in Springfield Regional Medical Center after several months of failing health. He was born on September 10, 1941 in Springfield, Ohio, the son of the late Lawrence and Mary (Dibert) Rowe. He was a 1959 graduate of Urbana High School and a 1961 graduate of General Motors Institute. He worked for many years at the Credit Life Insurance Company and Community Hospital. He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Uncle. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Peggy; his children, Lori and Dave Snyder, Cara and Jim Mamer, Steve and Patricia Rowe and Julie Craft; his Grandchildren, Luke (Reagan) and Logan Mamer, Tanner, Tate, and Tess Rowe, Frida Lozano and Hope Rowe. He is also survived by his Brothers and Sisters, Terry and Jo Rowe, Sue and Jim Clemens, Randy and Mitch Rowe, and Tammy and Earl Walter, Sister-in-Law, Barbara Rowe along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his Brother, Ronald Rowe. Larry’s family would like to give special thanks to his Nurse, Diane at Vancrest of Urbana, his ICU Nurses, Rick and Kayla as well as all of his doctors at Springfield Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. with his service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Walter & Lewis Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Kingscreek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial contributions made to the American Cancer Society in Larry’s honor.
