Barbara L. Hagar

Barbara L. Hagar, 84, of Urbana, died at 2:10 p.m. on Friday, September 12, 2014 in her daughters residence. She was born on September 12, 1930 in Woodstock, OH, a daughter of Walter D. and Charlotte E. (Rhoades) Hayes. She was a member of Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church, Urbana PTA, Urbana-Champaign County Senior Center, Red Hat Society, Sunday Night McDonalds Ladies and North Mothers Club. Barbara is survived by her son, David Hagar of Sacramento, CA; daughter, Nancy Zerkle and husband Charlie of Urbana; grandchildren, Jason Stepp and wife Leah Nathan Zerkle, Hannah Zerkle, Scott Hagar and wife Carol, Alex Hagar, Elizabeth Hagar, great-grandchildren, Skyler Stepp and Cypress Hagar. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Herb Hagar, grandchildren Kirsten Hagar and Jonathon Hagar, daughter-in-law Amy Westfall and brother, Robert Hayes.
