Claudia Sue Callicoat

Claudia Sue (Cooper) Callicoat went home to be with the Lord on September 27, 2021. Claudia was born February 24, 1940 in
Paintsville, KY to Glen and Jennie (McKain) Cooper.

Claudia worked at Urbana Memorial Hospital, Heartland of Urbana Nursing Home and as an in-home daycare provider. She loved all the children she watched over the many, many years. That was her true passion.

Claudia is survived by her four children, Diana L. (Rusty) Chamberlain, Larry D. (Marcia) Callicoat, Sharon K. (Brad) Wallace,
and Kimberly S. (Alex) Yoder; 8 Grandchildren, Melanie Chamberlain, Danielle Callicoat, Zachary Callicoat, Tyler Callicoat, Lori Wallace, John (Rosanna) Wallace, Jerrod Yoder and Bryce (Cayla) Yoder; Brother, Phillip Cooper; sisters, Phyllis Pence and Bonnie Davisson; Brothers-in-law, Leon Callicoat and Dwight Pence; and sister-in-law, Sandy Cooper.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Callicoat; sister, Deloris Callicoat; mother and father-in-law, Virgil and Fern Callicoat; brothers-in-law, Neil Fenton and Ted Davisson; sister-in-law, Christine Fenton; and nephews, Phillip and Gary Fenton.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 10a.m.-12p.m. at Walter & Lewis Funeral Home with service beginning at 12p.m. Pastor Mike McKenzie will be officiating, Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty.
