Daniel "Jimmy" Gene Roberts

Daniel Gene “Jimmy” Roberts, 55, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013. He was born Oct. 8, 1957 to John and Tressie (Adams) Roberts. Jimmy was an avid bass fisherman, mushroom hunter and he loved to cook. He also loved to spend time with his grand-kids. He is survived by one daughter, Tammy Moore; granddaughter Amber Moore; grandson Brandon Moore, all of Forest, OH; sister Sue Frazier, of Urbana; brothers, John Franklin Roberts, of Urbana, Charlie Roberts and his wife Rhonda of Springfield, Rev. Michael Mounds and his wife Sandy of Lucasville, OH; 3 half- sisters, Mary Ann, Elizabeth, Jackie; 3 half-brothers, Tony, Terry, Christopher, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a special friend Kathy. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, special Aunt Mary; brother-in-law, Jim Frazier and close cousin Johnny Hall; several aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 P.M. Wednesday, July 10, 2013 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main St., Urbana, OH 4078 with a special time of remembrance at 7:30 P.M.
