Diane Marie Piper

Diane Marie Piper, age 71, of Urbana, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on Friday, May 26, 2023. She was born on May 19, 1952, in Marion, Ohio, the daughter of the late Delbert and Estella (Zachman) Tennyson. Diane is survived by the love of her life, Ray Piper, whom she just shared 51 years of marriage with on April 15; her loving daughters, Brittany Piper and Lindsay Piper (Brandon Ober); grandchildren, Mallory, Trenton, Makenna, Grayson and Kamron; brother, Donald Tennyson; nephew, Scott Tennyson; and special friends, Lorraine Havens and Beverly Dixon. Diane loved sewing, crocheting and cooking. She was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed nothing more than taking care of her family and friends. Being a wife, mom and grandma were the most important jobs in her life and she lived everyday serving others. A private gathering will be held in her honor at a later date.
