Dwight Victor Saylor

Dwight Victor Saylor, Sr., 65, of Urbana, went home to join his parents and sister on Thursday, October 13, 2016 in Springfield Regional Medical Center.
He was born on October 18, 1950 in Champaign County, OH, the son of Grant and Agnes Saylor. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and golf and was a fan of all sports.
Survivors include his significant other of 12 years, Donna Howell; children, Michelle Saylor Lickliter (Tommy Branch) of North Carolina, Natalie Saylor Blevins (Randy) of Urbana, Leah Saylor Abney, Dwight Saylor Jr. of Urbana, Duran Saylor of Texas, and Sheena Saylor Moye of Urbana; grandchildren, Brandun, Taylor, Tyler, Shelbie, Leslie, Logan, Lance, Noah, Danté, Lamont and Chrissy; great-grandson, Tucker, and great-granddaughter on the way; sisters, Connie (John) Smith of Marysville and Cathy Wells of North Carolina; brothers, Henry Saylor (Deanna), Grant Saylor Jr. (Jean), Rick Saylor (Julie) and Mike Saylor; brother-in-law, Jaymes Daniels; numerous nieces and nephews, including special niece, Brandi Moye and special nephew, Grant Saylor III; and former spouse and longtime friend, Janet Barnes.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Candy Daniels; and grandson, Collin Smith.
Friends and family may gather from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 to celebrate the life of Dwight in the Grace Baptist Church, 960 Children’s Home Road, Urbana.
