Edwin "Ed" Earl Brown

Edwin “Ed” Earl Brown, 63, of Urbana, passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center in Springfield.
He was born August 15, 1952 in Urbana, OH, as the youngest child of Ross and Ruth (Anderson) Brown. Ed was a 1970 graduate of West Liberty-Salem High School, and retired from Navistar after 31 years. He was an active member of the Moose Lodge and he will be remembered by many as one of the nicest guys you’d ever meet.
Survivors include a son, Paul J. Brown (Amanda Mikolic); stepchildren, Gary Coy (Robyn) and Danelle Knox (Kent); grandchildren, Emilia Mikolic and Anna Marie Mikolic; sisters, Sandra Brown-Burden and Joyce Tallman (Clarence); and brothers, Wilbur Brown (Diann), Richard Brown (Joyce), Eugene Brown (Dorothy), Robert Brown (Debbie) and Ross Thomas Brown.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Phyllis Ray.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2016 in the WALTER & STOWE FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, where a Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. with Gary Coy officiating. Inurnment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mutual.
