May 25, 1968 — January 4, 2021

ADAIR, Elizabeth Ann (Beth) of Urbana, OH, passed away on January 4, 2021 with her wife, who was her best friend and the love of her life, by her side. Beth is preceded in death by her mother, Becky Adair. She is survived by her wife, Heather Barnhart, father, Scott Adair, brother, Paul Adair, and sister, Emily Adair Stricklin. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Candace Barnhart, father-in-law, Robert Barnhart, sister-in-law, Kellie Anderson and brother-in-law, Brett Barnhart. She also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special “sister cousins”, Pam Bolton and Lisa Miller. Beth also leaves behind her beloved pets; Rosie, Leo, and Cookie.

Beth was a proud member of the Urbana High School Class of 1986 and part of the tennis, basketball, and softball teams. She was a proud supporter of the city of Urbana and Champaign County. Beth believed “Urbana will be a destination city!” She actively volunteered with the Simon Kenton Chili Cook-Off and was a member of the “Spice Girls”. She was a member of the Champaign County Historical Society and a member of the Monument Square District. She also served as Vice President of The American Legion Post 120 and was a member of the VFW.

Beth had an infectious smile and zest for life. She had the gift of making people feel how much they were loved. To know her was to love her.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements in the care of Walter and Lewis Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.walterfunerals.com.
