Gary A. Imel

Gary A. Imel, 72, of Urbana, passed away Friday, May 15, 2020 at Mercy McAuley Center. He was born on September 18, 1947, the son of the late George and Alberta (Foy) Imel. In addition to his parents, Gary is preceded in death by his sisters, Linda and Barb. He is survived by one brother, Jerry (Doris) Imel; four daughters, Brandi Imel, Chariti (Lee) Hiltibran, Molli (Will) Pryor and Kristi Imel; 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Gary was a skilled knife maker and enjoyed doing pioneer and renaissance era reenactments. He will forever be in the hearts of those he loved.
