Helen M. Wray, 85, of Urbana, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015 in Mercy Memorial Hospital in Urbana. She was born May 22, 1930 in Urbana, OH, a daughter of the late Lewis Allen & Mildred Bessie (Pullins) Watson. She was an active member of the Urbana Freewill Baptist Church. She loved the Lord, her late husband, family, friends and special friends. She retired from Ultra Met Manufacturing after 27 years in Urbana. Also worked at Acro Division in Hillsboro and at the Hillsboro Hospital. Helen is survived by her daughters; Sheryl (Karl) Zerkle of St. Paris, Jean (Steve) Strickland of Urbana, Teresa (Keith) Wall of Bellefontaine, Marcia (Bobby) Cole of Springfield, Kathy Couch (Crego Reviea) of Myrtle Beach, Rose Crego of Hawaii; sons, Dennis (Marcella) Crego of Urbana, David (Candi) Crego, Myrtle Beach, Dan (Tina) Crego of Tipp City; step-son Gary L. Wray of Urbana; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; and 3 step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; father of her children, Loren Crego in 1998; husband, Wilbur Wray in May 2014; son, Joey Crego; granddaughter, Torre Horsley; step daughter, Janie Sue James and a brother and sister. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 in the WALTER & STOWE FUNERAL HOME, Urbana where services will be held on Wednesday, July 15 at 11a.m. with Pastors Grant Kenneth Cordell and Del Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wyatt Strickland, Wade Strickland, Brad Zerkle, Barry Zerkle, Brent Zerkle, Brian Wall, Cliff Wall and Sam Wall. Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Reviea, Jared Reviea, Bill Mullins and Bobby Cole. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Helens memory to the Urbana Free Will Baptist Church.
