Hilda Jean Titus

TITUS, Hilda Jean age 96 of Salisbury, Maryland formerly of Urbana, Ohio and Medina, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Atria Assisted Living.  Jean was born on July 28, 1924 to the late Sherman L and Opal (Stocker) Dobie in New Hampshire, Ohio.  In addition to her parents,  Jean is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe Robert Titus in 2005 and her brother, Clyde Dobie in 2017. Jean leaves behind her two sons to cherish her memory, Jeffrey (Theresa) Titus and Jerry Titus; grandchildren: Zachary, Samantha and Alexander Titus as well as her nieces and nephews: Chris (Robert) Glessner, Donnie (Rose Ann) O'Rielley, Diane Rice, Steve (Christie) Schlumbohm,  Marylu Clute, and Greg Dobie.   Jean was a dedicated secretary for Medina County School District for many years before she retired in 1991.  She was a member of the Urbana United Methodist Church as well as the Urbana Senior Center.  Over the years, Jean spent quality time in the many friendships she developed; she also loved to travel and experience all aspects of life.  Jean loved watching Cleveland Indians Baseball and playing a spirited game of euchre.  Her family was her pride and joy and she will be sadly missed.  She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Joe at Walnut Hill Cemetery in New Hampshire, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to consider making a donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Jean's honor.  Condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.walterfunerals.com
