Ina M. Shaffer, 76, of Springfield, formerly of Urbana, died at 4:10 P.M. Friday, April 12, 2013 in her daughter’s residence. She was born September 12, 1936 in Thackery, a daughter of Simon H. and Hazel (Davidson) Domer. Ina proudly received her GED in 1988. She attended the North Hills Church of God and enjoyed spending time with her family. She had worked at Hoover’s Nursing Home. She is survived by daughters; Stella M. Campbell and her husband James, Jr. of Springfield, Dorothy L. Savage and her husband Ricky of TN, Cheryl J Simpson and her husband Jim of Betheny; five grandchildren, Coty “PJ” Justice, Samantha Justice, Natasha Hepp, Ivan Dishon, Sr. Forrest Detrick; 4 great grandchildren, Nina Dishon, Ivan Dishon, Jr., Topanga Dishon and Kameron Zimmer; a sister, Eva S. Hill of Springfield; brothers, Lester V. Domer of FL, Joe Domer of FL, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Ina was preceded in death by her parents, step father James F. Buck, husband Pearl J. Shaffer on August 20, 1991, her fiancée, Kenneth Watson, sister Emma Haney and a brother Harry W. Fannon. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, OH, where the funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 17, 2013 with the Rev. Seth Ross officiating. Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, OH.
