Jacqueline "Jacque" Clara Marie Donnell

Jacqueline Jacque Clara Marie (Swartz) Donnell, age 74, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 21, 2015 at her home, with family by her side. Jacque was born to the late Walter C. and Mildred L. (Bacon) Swartz on March 20, 1941, in Sharon, PA. She went on to graduate from Mercer High School in 1959, and later married the love of her life, Martin Marty Donnell. She was a long time member of the Kingscreek Baptist Church, and later attended Grace Baptist Church; both of which she greatly enjoyed attending, and grew stronger in her faith. She loved flowers and gardening, and especially birds. Jacque enjoyed working with children whenever possible. She was affectionately known as Miss Jacque whether it was from her many years working at the Center for Creative Childcare in Urbana, or from Vacation Bible School that she had taught in years past. Jacque was a great friend, teacher, and mother, and will be missed by all those who knew her. Jacque is survived by her son, Craig Donnell of Urbana; a niece that was as dear to her as a daughter, Krisann Rush of Urbana; two brothers, Stanley E. (Severina) Swartz of AZ, and David L. (Paula) Swartz of PA; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, including special cousins, Shelby (Lloyd) Roberts and Yvonne (William) Reimond; as well as her loving cat, Taffy. Along with her parents, Jacque was preceded in death by her husband, Marty, as well a brother, W. Terry Swartz. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2015 from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. in the WALTER & STOWE FUNERAL HOME, Urbana. A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 29, 2015, also in the funeral home, with Pastor Aaron Samples officiating. Burial to follow at Kingscreek Cemetery.
