James E. Mullins

James E. Mullins, 89, of Springfield, died Saturday morning, March 30, 2013 in his residence. He was born March 5, 1924 in Clay Co. WV, a son of Alvin and Eva (Samples) Mullins. James, a graduate of Clay County High School in WV, owned and operated several businesses throughout his career. Survivors include his sister, Betty Lewis of Columbus, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ann (Saunders) Mullins, and four brothers, Emil, Paul, John and Charles. Family will receive friends from noon until 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2013 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 S.
