James Siegenthaler

James Wilbur Siegenthaler, 61, went to be with Jesus at 11:45 A.M. Friday, August 10, 2012. Jimmy was born December 1, 1950 in Champaign County to Wilbur and Dorothy Ward Siegenthaler, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death are sisters, Peggy Jean and Kathy Marie (infant). He is survived by his brother Donald and fiancé Kathy Overs of Mechanicsburg; sister, June Cummings and friend Gary Farrington of Russells Point; brother, Richard of Thackery; and a half-sister, Leona of Little Rock, AR. Also surviving are nieces Samantha Lynn Jones of MN, great niece Alliyah Hampton of Kettering, OH and several other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Jimmy spent his last few years working at Downsize Farms and many years before that working at Lawnview Industries. He will be remembered for his big smiles, handshakes and smooches that he was always giving to those fortunate enough to be a part of his life. He will be greatly missed by his CRSI family, his church families and ALL who knew him. Visitation will be held Monday, August 13th from 5-8 P.M. and 10-11 A.M. on Tuesday, August 14th. The funeral will be held on August 14th at 11 A.M. in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main Street, Urbana with Rev. Richard Keeran, Pastor Dan Leiker and Pastor Joshua Kespelher officiating.
