Jane Ann Griffith

Jane Ann Griffith, 39, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly on April 15, 2023. She was born on February 7, 1984, in Springfield, the daughter of Neal and Linda (Jenkins) Little. She was preceded in death by her father. Jane Ann is survived by her mother, Linda; son, Tommy Griffith; daughter, Destiny Dean; grandchildren, Isabella and Jaylee; brothers, Jimmy and Charles Little; sister, Jeannie Wilson; her good friend and Godmother to Destiny, Debra; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Jane Ann previously worked in the housekeeping department at Good Shepherd Village and recently started working for Navistar. She loved being around people and children and even helped Santa at the Fairfield Commons Mall this past Christmas season. She enjoyed walking and swimming and most importantly, loved being with her family. She had the kindest heart, always looking after others, especially her mother and was an amazing mom to her own children. Jane Ann will be deeply missed. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 26 at 11a.m. at Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery gate prior to service.
