Jessica Danae Couts

Jessica Danae Couts 35, of Springfield was called home to be with her beloved Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She passed away on August 6th, 2021, in Istanbul Turkey after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Jessica is survived by her parents Barry and Beverly Couts Sr., siblings Kimberly Kegley (Daniel), Erica Dudley (Wayne), Barry Couts Jr. (Amanda), Nathan Couts and Stephanie Frye (Zachary).

Jessica’s pride was in her nieces and nephews which include Isaiah, Amya, Marcus, Jayce, Jordan, Jaden, Zayne, Eula, Ezekiel, Kendrix, Ida, Ava.

She was preceded in death by her Grandmother Mozelle Couts.

Jessica was born on October 1, 1985 in Springfield Ohio, graduating from Springfield North High School with the Class of 2004. She worked as an independent professional photographer and as Manager of Marketing and Communications for True Inspection Services.

Jessica had a vivacious disposition and always made people around her laugh. Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met. Jessica enjoyed tasty food, shopping, the beach, spending time with friends and family and loved to travel. Generous at heart, she often volunteered her time and expertise as an event coordinator for church fundraising as well as mentoring youth.

In addition to her family, Jessica leaves behind a host of close friends from both near and far. She was an incredible person and her love for Jesus was evident. She lived an extremely full life, and we look forward to being united again with great expectation.

A funeral service to celebrate Jessica’s life is scheduled for 12pm on Saturday, August 14th, 2021, at Urbana Christian Fellowship 1778 West State Route 29 Urbana, Ohio 43078. Viewing/visitation hours are from 11am-12pm.
Graveside service to follow at Grandview Cemetery.
