Louis "Scott" Mouton

Louis "Scott" Mouton, 56 of Urbana, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep early Sunday morning, November 13, 2016.
Scott was born in Los Angeles County, California on December 29, 1959, and dedicated his life to hard work and helping others in any way he could. In 1972, he became the youngest Boy Scout, at age 13, in the state of Ohio to become an Eagle Scout. Scott went to work for The Bundy Companies in 1975 and worked for them for the past 41 years.
He graduated from Graham High School in 1977 and in 1978, married his soul mate, Jeanette Cain. They were married for 38 years, raised two daughters, helped raise nine grandchildren, and shared a love for sailing at sea.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Dorothy Mouton, his in-laws, Walter and Deloris Ann Cain, his grandson, Thomas Scott Daulton, and sister-in-law Janet Cain.
He is survived by his loving and adoring wife, Jeanette (Cain) Mouton; his sister Carole (Jeff) Zook; daughters Julia (Keith) Monroe and Jennifer (Matthew) Kirkham; his nine grandchildren Sarah Jane, Emily JoAnn, Jillian Louise, Joran Nicholas, Sarah Joyce, Jonathan Wayne, Siri Jeanette, Hannah Mae Jean, and James Tiberius; brothers-in-law Jeff (Gail) Cain, Jerry (Toni) Cain, and Jon Cain; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church in Urbana on Thursday, November 17, 2016, at 4 p.m. and the family will receive visitors beforehand from 2–4 p.m. The Bundy Companies have arranged for a communal meal to be available following the memorial at the Urbana Country Club at 6 p.m. for those able to join the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boy Scouts of America, Tecumseh Council-Cub Scout Pack 66, care of Messiah Lutheran Church, Urbana, Ohio on behalf of Scott.
