Marion Scott Blake

Marion (Scott) Blake, 101, of Urbana, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 in the Springfield Masonic Community.
He was born in Van Wert, OH on September 19, 1915 to Della (Hahn) and Earl Blake.
Dad was an auto mechanic all of his working days in Lima, OH and South Bend, IN. He belonged to the Lima motorcycle club in the 40s and 50s.
Dad is survived by daughters, Judy Flinn of Crossville, TN and Jean Shafer of Urbana, OH; son, Donald Blake and his wife Joann of Humble, TX; a brother, Robert Blake of Lima, OH; grandchildren, Mike and Jeff Flinn, Gary, Terry and Rusty Shafer, Don Blake Jr., Tammy Sheneman, Pamela Marvel, Brenda Sternthal, Teri Nelson, Renee Sanders, Karen Maryann, Chris and Michael Blake; 27 great-grandchildren; 43 great, great-grandchildren; and 1 great, great, great-grandson.
Our Dad was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lucile (Reams) Blake; sister, Marc Greenawalt; son, Doug Blake; grandsons, Rodney Blake and Rex Flinn; and great-granddaughter, Jenny Shafer Russell.
