Mary Lou Yohn

Mary Lou (Hankey) Yohn, 84, of Urbana, was reunited with the love of her life, John, on Monday, September 14, 2015 in Vancrest of Urbana. She was born on February 2, 1931 in Dayton, OH, the daughter of the late James and Frances J. (Waldren) Hankey. Mary was a very loving woman who was everyones mother. Survivors include her children, John S. (Sharon) Yohn of Marysville, Dorothy (Rick) Markin of Urbana, Gail (Mike) Comer of Urbana, Rose Yohn of Urbana, Emma Jane Turner of Springfield, Bruce (Elizabeth) Yohn of Urbana and Karen Preston (Jim Leedy) of Urbana; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Marylan Brown, grandson Edward Ely Yohn and numerous siblings. The family will receive friends from 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2015 in the WALTER & STOWE FUNERAL HOME, Urbana. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family with Gary Michael Coy officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Alzheimers Association, Miami Valley Chapter, 31 W. Whipp Road, Dayton, OH 45459.
