Oral Edinger

Oral Edinger, 71, of Mechanicsburg, OH, died at 10:10 P.M., Saturday, May 11, 2013 in Mercy Memorial Hospital, Urbana. He was born December 25, 1941 in Woodstock, OH, a son of Pearl and Margaret (Blosser) Edinger. Oral retired from Q3, and hade previously worked at Grimes Mfg. Co., and worked with Raymond Phillips and Wilbur Phillips. He also farmed with Max Sibley, Wendell and Doug Mason. He enjoyed participating and setting up Tractor Pulls. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda (Ridgeway), two sons, Kevin and Jeff Edinger of Mechanicsburg, aunts, uncles and many cousins, best friends, his dog, Bo and his cat Missy. Preceded in death by his parents and a brother. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Thursday, May 16, 2013 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main St., Urbana, OH 43078, where the family will receive friends for two hours (11:30 A.M-1: 30 P.M.) prior to the service. Pastor Dewey Casto will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mutual, OH. The family thanks the Springfield Regional Cancer Center, Dr. Zaw Bo, and Dr. Sandra Victor for their care.
