Rodney Lee Souders

Rodney Lee Souders, 60, of Urbana, passed away peacefully after a 20 year battle with numerous health ailments. He was born on January 1, 1961, in Urbana, Ohio, the son of Beverly (Cotrell) Nichols. In addition to his mother, Rodney is survived by his sisters, Vickie Hooper, Penny Brewer and Cathy Schlabach; sons, Eric and Ryan Souders; and special friends, Rodney Albright, Freddie Moore, John Corwin and Dorothy Lee. He is preceded in death by his step-father, Carl Nichols; daughter, Cassandra Souders; and brother, Timmie Souders. Rodney was a Journeyman plumber and carpenter who loved working in construction. He was always dependable and reliable and no matter the need, he was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a kind and loving man who always pushed through no matter what life handed him.
