Virginia "Ginny" Ann Mcbride

Virginia Ann (Neer) McBride, age 75 of Springfield, Ohio passed away on January 24, 2023. She was born on February 17, 1947 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Ralph Everhart and Margaret Mae (Gridley) Neer. Ginny is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Daniel McBride, children; Shawn (Katie) McBride, Alisa McBride-Baker, and Christopher McBride, grandchildren; Maranda, Joshua (Jordan), Katie Ann, Kelsie, Madison, Conor, and Zach, great-grandchildren, Colton, Emmett, Gabriel, Elijah, Mackenzie, and Ezekiel, sisters; Carolyn Trier, Gaye Bowers, and Pam Eggleston, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ginny was a 1966 graduate of Urbana High School. After high school, she took a few art classes at Morehead State University. Ginny was always doing something creative. She took a liking to art and fell into what would become a lifelong hobby. Ginny centered her artistic passions on making stained glass art pieces, later teaching classes on it She also spent a brief time selling real estate in New York.

A celebration of Ginny’s life will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2023 from 1:00-4:00 p.m., at the Cheetah Lounge, 211 Glenn Avenue Urbana, Ohio 43078.
