William "Bill" Joseph Wesbecher

William “Bill” Joseph Wesbecher, age 69 of Urbana, Ohio, formerly of Sidney, Ohio died peacefully on November 16, 2022 at Vancrest of Urbana. He was born on March 21, 1953 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late Joseph and Rosie Wesbecher.

Bill is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jennie (Worman Staley) Wesbecher whom he married on March 21, 1992, son, Shawn Wesbecher, step-children; Carla (Rick) McKee, Tim (Sharon Lehman) Staley, Christine Staley, siblings; Beverly (Wesbecher) Boroff, Tom (Barb) Wesbecher, and Mark (Jill) Wesbecher, sister-in-law, Ruth Wesbecher, grandchildren; Lacey (Don) Turner, Brandon (Kamri Mercadel) Staley, Ryan Staley, Kameron (Nina McKay) Staley, Michael (Colleen) McKee, Matthew McKee, and Myea Ogden, and great-grandchildren; Brevan, Kaydence, Natalie, Lauren, Kai, Kimani, and Selina. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Karen (Wesbecher) Cull and brother, Dennis Wesbecher.

Bill spent his time as a handyman & was always fixing something for someone, he loved his dogs, & watching westerns. He loved spending time ith his grandkids, watching Nascar racing & was a devout Catholic.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Walter and Lewis Funeral Home, Urbana. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Urbana. Bill will be laid to rest at Oak Dale Cemetery following mass.
