William Farmer

September 23, 1957 — July 9, 2012

William “Tuter” Farmer, 54 of Urbana died at 7:30 P.M. Monday, July 9, 2012 in his residence. He was born September 23, 1957in Urbana a son of Paul and Elizabeth Farmer. Tuter worked for McKeever Excavating for 16 years where he managed McKeever’s for 5 years. He enjoyed working, working with people and sharing his knowledge of Excavating, His interest were mushroom hunting, hunting, fishing for walleye on Lake Erie and deer hunting with his father-in-law Floyd Milliron. Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Sherry (Milliron) Farmer whom he married on April 13, 1996, their daughter Jacqueline Farmer of Urbana, Billie Blevins (Randy) of Urbana and Cheryl Farmer (Travis New) of St. Paris, former wife, Margaret Nolte (Greg) of Urbana, daughter, Rae Lynn O’Donnell (Scott) of Urbana, sons, Shane Carter (Danyell) of Urbana and Trey Carter (Veronica Brumfield) of Tempe, AZ, grandchildren, Daulton Howell, Jarrett Howell, Austin Pullins, Tehya Rice, Alah Blevins, Hayden Blevins, Lauryn O’Donnell, Landon O’Donnell, Zheyne Carter, Sasha Carter, Dezirea Carter, Zoey Carter, Serenity Carter, Peyton Carter, Chloe Carter and Caine Carter, sisters, Sue Bailey (George “Jay”) of Urbana and Debbie Randall (Darrell Wilkins) of Cable, brothers, Paul Douglas of Urbana and Cecil Farmer of Urbana, father-in-law, Floyd Million, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Special friends, Bill McKeever, Rusty Coe and Clint Bova. He was preceded in death by his parents, mother-in-law Jacqueline Milliron. The family will receive friends 11:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 14, 2012 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main Street, Urbana where funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. with Steve Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Myrtle Tree Cemetery. Casual attire is requested for the visitation and the funeral service. After the burial a gathering of family and friends will be at the Pine View Hall, 542 Lippencott Rd, Urbana.
