Allene Adkins

Allene Adkins, age 100 of Urbana, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2023. She was born on October 9, 1922, in Ashland, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Martin) Sparks. Allene is survived by her oldest daughter, Patty (Ken) Bellamy and their daughters, Missy (KC) King and great-grandson, Sam and Debby (Adam) Bailey; her youngest daughter, Cathy (Dennis) Matheny and their daughter, Karen (Holden) Blackwell and great-grandchildren, Ally, Mason, Evie and Brian and Cathy’s son, Chris Matheny (Meredith Rosier). Private graveside services will be held for her family at Upper Honey Creek Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Day City Hospice, 7601 Paragon Rd. Suite 201, Dayton, OH 45459.
