Bernice L. Collins

Bernice L. Collins, 75, of Urbana, OH died at 6:18 P.M. Wednesday, July 17, 2013 in her residence. She was born July 19, 1937 in Greenup, KY, a daughter of John and Nellie Mae (Watkins) Grayson. She worked as a cook at Millner”s Cafeteria. Bernice is survived by daughters, Ruth Ann Ball of Bellefontaine, Brenda (Bruce) Holycross of Bellefontaine, Karen Sue Stotler of Urbana, Tina Moore of Urbana; son, Gerald “Jerry” Stotler, Jr. of Springfield; a granddaughter whom she raised from birth, Bernice J. Nye of Springfield; sister, Ruth Ann Garris of Cable; brother, Billy Ray Daniels of Springfield; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Grace “Peggy” Cook, Juanita Gilbert; brother, Mort Grayson and two grandchildren and great grandson. Family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. on Monday, July 22, 2013 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main St, Urbana, where a service will be held at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Doug McConehea officiating. Burial will follow in Nettle Creek Cemetery, Westville, OH.
