Bernice Melvina Depalma

Bernice Melvina DePalma, 91, died Friday, August 7, 2021, at Vancrest Nursing Home of Urbana where she lived since February of 2019. Left behind, grieving, are her husband of 70 years, James DePalma of Urbana, OH – theirs was a love for the ages – daughter Toni DePalma also of Urbana, daughter Teri Teasley of Palm Bay, FL and son Tim DePalma of Orlando, FL. Waiting for her Mom in Heaven is daughter Tami DePalma.

Bernie dearly loved her extended family including in-laws, aunts, uncles, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-nieces and –nephews. She was always interested in their lives and showed her love in so many unselfish ways.

In Urbana, Bernie’s family has entrusted Walter and Lewis Funeral Home with her arrangements. She will be laid to rest out of state.

“Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and may Your perpetual light shine upon her.”
