Bonita "Bonnie" Dellinger, a lifelong resident of Urbana, Ohio, passed away peacefully
on May 7, 2026. She was the beloved daughter of the late William and Louise Mahan.
Born and raised in Urbana, Bonnie built a life centered around family, community and
love. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Jim Dellinger, and together they
created a home filled with warmth, support and unwavering love for their family.
As a truly loving mother of three boys, Bonnie was their biggest supporter – never
missing an opportunity to cheer them on in life and sports. And she continued that as
much as possible with her grandchildren, who brought her endless pride and joy.
A woman with the greatest heart, her presence brought warmth and stability to those
around her, and her memory will continue to live on through her children and
grandchildren. The love she showed was nothing short of being fully reciprocated by
anyone who knew her.
She is now united in peace with her beloved husband, Jim, and son, Andy.
Sons, Tony Watson (wife, Andrea) and Josh Dellinger (wife, Kimberly), survive the
mother they loved so dearly. She also has three grandchildren (Madyson Michael, Pryce
Wtason and Rayce Watson) and two great-grandchildren (Octavia and Oria Michael),
whom she absolutely cherished.
Sisters, Sharan Isabelle (husband Frank) and Billie Mahan (husband Tim Biddle),
survive Bonnie, as well.
Viewing and funeral services will be held at Walters & Lewis in Urbana on Thursday,
May 14 th . Viewing will start at 12:30pm, immediately followed by the funeral service at
2pm. Those wishing to honor Bonnie’s memory may send flowers, gifts or make
contributions to her son’s scholarship program, the Andy Dellinger Memorial

The family deeply appreciates the love, prayers and support during this difficult time.
