Carol A. Spain

SPAIN, Carol A. age 67 of Urbana, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born on October 31, 1955, the daughter of Robert and Dorothy (Kitchen) Chamberlain in Urbana. In addition to her parents, Carol leaves behind her two sons: Christopher (Jessica) Spain and Jaye (Michele) Baker; grandchildren: Korey Spain, Xander Spain, Xavier Spain, Kasey Spain, Oren Baker, and Amelia Baker; siblings: Cathy Parks, David (Myung) Chamberlain, Tony (Jill Skaggs) Chamberlain, Steve (Alice) Chamberlain, Danny (Moreen) Chamberlain, Larry (Anna Marie) Chamberlain, and Troy Chamberlain as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Carol was a person who lit up the room with her beautiful smile and infectious one-of-a-kind laugh. She was a social butterfly, fluttering from table to table at the senior center, spreading her joy and caring about all those around her. In her last few years, she gave so much of herself to care for her beloved parents. Carol blessed others with her homemade cards and beautiful messages to the recipients; they were treasured. She loved her family, her children and grandchildren, playing chair volleyball, reading, and her adventures with her sister Cathy. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Her funeral will begin at 12:00 p.m. Carol will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery, North Lewisburg.
