Dale F. Rife

RIFE, Dale F. age 81 of Urbana passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020 at his home.  He was born in Troy, Ohio to the late Carl Edward and Lula Mae (Chronberry) Rife on March 25, 1939.  In addition to his parents, Dale is preceded in death by his brother, Billy Rife.  He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Barbara (Holycross) Rife; step-children: Mike & Joanna Horsley, Dale Horsley, Carl Horsley, Susan & Skip Mintchell, Warren Horsley and Della Trimble; brothers-in-law: Glenn & Kim Holycross and Doug Holycross. Dale had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; among them that were a few near and dear to his heart: Jamie Reynolds, Thomas Horsley and special great-grandson, Dylan Daniels.  Dale was a retired truck driver who loved to work with his hands.  He enjoyed putting puzzles together, making models and working with wood.  A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Oak Dale Cemetery beginning at 1:30 p.m.  Condolences and memorial contributions may be made to the family by visiting www.walterfunerals.com
