Deborah Kay Roseberry

March 27, 1956 — July 19, 2025

Woodstock, OH

Deborah Kay Roseberry, a cherished soul, was born on March 27, 1956, in Ary, Kentucky. She departed this life on July 19, 2025, in Woodstock, Ohio.

Deborah graduated from Triad High School in 1975, a milestone that was significant not just for her but for all who supported her along the way. From a young age, she participated in the Special Olympics, showcasing her determination and spirit, despite the disabilities she was born with. What made Deborah particularly remarkable was her uncanny ability to remember dates. She could effortlessly recall birthdays, anniversaries, and other significant events, leaving those around her in delightful disbelief.

Her love for her family was profound, and she found immense joy in talking about her nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Deborah shared a deep bond with her siblings, including her brothers Steve (Lori) Roseberry and Ron (Cathy) Roseberry. She was a beloved aunt to Culley (Jarad) Gilbert, Merritt (Cassey) Roseberry, Sara (Dustin) Alvey, and Austin (Jessica) Roseberry. The laughter and joy of her great-nieces and great-nephews — Braedyn, Mya, Peyton, Hunter, Parker, Tanner, Eli, Skyler, and Emmett — filled her heart with immeasurable happiness.

While Deborah enjoyed many hobbies such as reading and engaging in crossword puzzles, it was her gift of conversation and storytelling that truly set her apart. She had an extraordinary ability to connect with others, sharing her experiences and joys in a way that left lasting impressions. Not only was she beloved by her family, but she also became a vital part of the community at Spring Meadows Nursing Home, where the staff and residents became her chosen family.

Deborah is preceded in death by her loving parents, George and Martha Roseberry, her sister, Brenda Brofford and her great-niece, Alivia Laird.
