Donald H. Williamson II

Donald H. Williamson II, affectionately known as Donn, was born on June 23, 1953, in Springfield, Ohio. He passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025, at the Hospice of Miami County, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and dedication in the field of nursing.

Donn dedicated nearly 40 years of his life to nursing administration, serving at various hospitals in Saudi Arabia. His commitment to healthcare and his role as a leader in nursing exemplified his strong work ethic and desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Donn attended the Faith Tabernacle Church, where he found community and fulfillment. He embraced the values of faith and service, integrating them into his everyday life, and inspiring those around him.

Donn leaves behind his cherished family, including his brother Paul David Williamson, his sisters: Cheryl (Sam) Boehm and Becky Williamson, and his niece Cari (Andy) Hockman. His nephew Chad (Erin) Winebrenner, along with his great-niece Grace Hockman and great-nephew Reid Hockman, will also remember him fondly. Additionally, Donn shared a special friendship with Dixie Lee Burdick, whose presence brought joy to his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald H. Williamson and Mary (Amlin) Williamson, who instilled in him the values that shaped the man he became.

Donn's life was one of service to others, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him and witness his dedication and kindness. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Ohio's Hospice for their loving care of Donn and would encourage memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice in Donn's honor.
