Dorothy Stevens

Dorothy Stevens, 79, of Urbana, died at 8:10 P.M. Thursday, August 30, 2012 in Vancrest of Urbana. She was born May 25, 1933 in Columbus, OH a daughter of Harry A. and Alice (Denney) Diles. Survivors include five daughters, Doris Jean Prater of London, Brenda Doty, Pam Crawford, Lisa Jackson, and Tonya Morgan all of Urbana and a son, David Headlee of Bellefontaine; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a special friend Doug Shreve of Bellefontaine, and Jerryann Adkins of Urbana. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Donald Lee Stevens, The family will receive friends 3:00 - 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 4, 2012 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main Street, Urbana where funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.M. with Pastor David Ridenour officiating. Honoring her request she will be cremated.
