Emilie Kay Kidd

Emilie Kay Kidd, born on September 16, 1941, in Mt. Victory, Ohio, peacefully passed away on August 22, 2025, in Urbana, Ohio. Emilie's life was a testament to love, resilience, and unwavering kindness, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Throughout her life, Emilie cherished her family profoundly. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Pamela Kay Keller and Tamara (Karl) Schwarz, who will forever hold dear the memories of their mother’s warmth and wisdom. Emilie was also a proud grandmother to Austin (Miranda) Moore and Aaron (Danielle) Moore, who brought her immense joy. Her legacy continues through her seven great-grandchildren, each one a source of pride and happiness for her.

Emilie was fortunate to have formed deep and lasting friendships. She shared a special bond with her best friends—Jayne Helen Harris, Doris Rogan, Martha Rogan, and Ruthie Mae Keller—who enriched her life and stood by her through thick and thin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emerson Dille and Mary Kay (Griffith) Dille, whose guiding influence shaped the incredible woman she became. Emilie's loving companion, James Rogan, and her dear friend, Betty Kavanaugh, are also remembered fondly, their lives intertwined with hers in profound ways.

A graveside service to honor Emilie's life will be held on September 4, 2025, at Hale Cemetery in Mount Victory, Ohio. Friends and family are invited to gather beginning at 11:00 AM to celebrate a life well-lived and the love she shared with all who knew her.
