Emma C. Robson, a devoted mother and beloved family member, passed away too soon at the age of 71 on May 12, 2025, at the Springfield Regional Medical Center. Born on April 27, 1954, in Paintsville, Kentucky, Emma dedicated her life to being a proud stay-at-home mom, nurturing and raising her children with love and care.
Emma had a special bond with her son, Ricky Robson Sr., often cherishing memories of their outings to Shady Bowl Speedway. She took immense pride in watching her son coach baseball and made it a priority to attend her grandchildren's sporting events, celebrating every achievement and milestone with enthusiasm.
Her artistic flair was evident in her hobbies and interests. Emma enjoyed engaging in arts and crafts, tending to her flower garden, and nurturing the three cacti that she cherished for many years. These passions not only brought her joy but also filled her home with warmth and creativity.
Emma’s family includes her loving sons, Ricky Robson Sr. and Noah (Charla) Robson, as well as her cherished grandchildren: Aaron Evilsizor, Noah Robson Jr., Ricky Robson Jr., Zoie Robson, and Clayton Robson, along with Rabecca Robson. She is also survived by her sister, Betty (Ron) Hall.
Emma will always be remembered for her unwavering spirit, her kindness, and the love she shared within her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Terry L. Robson, and her daughter, Robin Estep. Additionally, she was predeceased by her brothers Edward Castle and Noah Castle Jr.; her sister, Lula (Marion “Butch”) Kemp; and her parents, Noah L. Castle Sr. and Edna Mae Castle.
Emma C. Robson leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to resonate within her family for generations to come. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Because of her untimely death, her family is requesting that any memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help with funeral arrangements.
