Evelyn J. Sferazo

SFERAZO, Evelyn J., age 93 of Urbana, formerly of New York, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at McAuley Center.  She was born on August 27, 1927 in Queens, New York to the late Dominick and Mary (Bartomeo) D'Arco.  In addition to her parents, Evelyn is preceded in death by her five siblings: Roberto, Alfredo, Renarto, Olympia, and Salvatore D'Arco.  She is survived by her sons: Johnathan (Lena) Sferazo and Ray (Marie) Sferazo; grandchildren: Nicole, Joey (Lakeisha), Cassandra, Stephen, and Michelle as well as great-grandchildren: Aaliyah, Jayla, Issabella, Lilliana, Damien, Gino, Talia, Raymond Vincent, and Evan.  Evelyn was a dedicated housewife who loved taking care of her family.  She was deeply devoted to her faith and sharing the word of her God Jehovah.  Evelyn is awaiting God's kingdom with her family that went before her.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.walterfunerals.com
