Evelyn M. Dauernheim

Evelyn May Dauernheim of Urbana, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2020. She was born December 23, 1934, in Bronx, New York to the late Adolph and Evelyn (Bogart) Weill. She loved taking care of her family both in offering heartwarming hospitality and kind generosity. Evelyn is predeceased by her husband Philip J. Dauernheim, brother Robert Weill, and son-in-law Douglas Weishuhn. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by her son Philip Dauernheim and wife, Arleen; daughter Lynn Weishuhn; grand-children Philip Dauernheim, Erin Weishuhn, and great grandson Ezra Dauernheim; sisters Norma Vanturini and Jean Heitzler; brother Thomas Weill and wife, Sue. Auntie Evie will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Walter and Lewis Funeral Home with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
