Franklin Wayne Daniels Sr.

Franklin Wayne Daniels Sr., affectionately known as "Frank," passed away peacefully on April 14, 2026, in Urbana, Ohio. Born on April 19, 1947, in McDowell, West Virginia, Frank lived a life marked by dedication, warmth, and a spirited sense of humor that touched the hearts of all who knew him.

Frank’s career was a testament to his commitment and work ethic. He retired after 41 years of service at WB Marvins Manufacturing, where his contributions were deeply valued. Beyond his professional life, Frank was a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, an organization through which he expressed his generosity and built lasting friendships.

Known for his jovial nature and quick wit, Frank was a true jokester who brightened any room he entered. He delighted in simple pleasures, especially frequenting yard sales and flea markets where he could spend hours finding unique treasures. Yet, above all, his greatest joy came from his family. Frank cherished his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, their laughter and presence filling his heart with immense pride and love.

Frank is survived by his sons Frank (Carol) Daniels Jr., and Jack (Elizabeth) Daniels, and cherished grandchildren Jack Daniels Jr., James Parson, and Chrystal Ramey. His great-grandchildren Austin Ramey, Hailee Ramey, Lilly Parson, and A'Lyla Parson. Alongside his immediate family, Frank is lovingly remembered by his sister Brenda Adams.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Naoli Daniels, his cherished wife of 49 years, Carol Sue Daniels, and his brothers Ron Daniels and Jake Daniels. Their memories remain an enduring part of his journey.

Services to honor Frank’s life will be held at Walter & Lewis Funeral Home in Urbana, Ohio. The visitation will take place on April 20, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Frank will be laid to rest at Oak Dale Cemetery.
