Janice L. Ashbeck

Janice L. (McKean) Ashbeck, 82, of Urbana, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in Vancrest of Urbana.
She was born on November 21, 1934 in Lima, OH, a daughter of Ira and Clara (Diltz) Folkerth. Janice was a floral designer for Law the Florist, in Crestline for a number of years, operated her own store in Arizona and later managed a store in Oregon.
She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Urbana and a member of Business and Professional Women.
Survivors include a daughter, Jacqueline (Tim) Thompson of Urbana; son, Jon McKean, formerly of Avon Lake; and grandchild, Ira Henson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Jack McKean; second husband, Edward Ashbeck; and sister, JoAnn Folkerth.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in Grace Baptist Church, Urbana, followed by a service at 4 p.m. with Pastor Aaron Samples. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline, OH.
