Jimmy D. Burton

Jimmy D. Burton, a beloved brother and friend, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026, in Middletown, Ohio, at the age of 68. Born on October 7, 1957, in Urbana, Ohio.

For many years, Jimmy worked at Burton Lawn & Landscaping, contributing his skills and support to the family business. Growing up in a nurturing household, he was the son of Mitchell and Thelma (George) Burton, who preceded him in death, along with his brother, Charles (Bonnie) Burton.

Jimmy cherished the time spent fishing and dedicated himself to collecting memorabilia. 

He is survived by his brothers Curtis (Pamela) Burton, Larry (Dodie) Burton, and Darrell (Linda) Burton, as well as his sisters Kathy (Doug) Green and Sharon (Steve McCarthy) Burton. Additionally, Jimmy shared a special bond with his close friend, Belinda Taylor, and leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.

Through his relationships and the life he led, Jimmy D. Burton touched the hearts of many, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, hard work, and enjoyment of life will endure in the memories of his family and friends.
