Laurena Fay Eaton

Laurena Fay Eaton, 78, of Urbana passed away gracefully into the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, July 28, 2025. She was born April 4, 1947, in Piqua, OH, a daughter of the late Donald and Norberta (Evilsizor) Sellers.

She married the love of her life, John Eugene Eaton on December 24, 1965 and was looking forward to planning a 60-year celebration of marriage this year. Laurena was very close to God and sent daily Bible verses of encouragement to her family and friends on Facebook. Her hobbies were making arts and crafts projects. She particularly enjoyed making special fairy wands for plants. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great granddaughter. Laurena was a lifelong resident of Urbana and loved visiting and talking with everyone she knew.

She leaves much love from her family; her daughter and son-in-law, Dawn (Scott) Vermillion; grandchildren, Sierra Vermillion and Kyle (Christina) Robb and a granddaughter, Cassandra Robb.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Eugene Eaton, a daughter, Shawn Robb and her parents, Don and Norberta Seller.
