Margaret Ann Ropp

Margaret Ann “Peggy” Ropp, 87, of Urbana, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, with her sister by her side. She was born on June 2, 1938, in Champaign County, Ohio, to the late George Wesley and Margaret Christina (Butz) Randall. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her four cherished children—Helen, Nelson Jr., Amy, and Robert Ropp—and her brothers Robert, George, and James Randall. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Dan Daulton, who will hold her memory dear.

Peggy worked for over 25 years in central supply at St. John’s Nursing Center before retiring. She loved being active and social, always ready for a trip with friends or to lend a hand to anyone in need. She was also a devoted member of Maplewood Church of the Nazarene.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Fairview Cemetery in Mutual, Ohio, with Pastor Mike Stewart officiating. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.walterfunerals.com.
