Merl Richard "Rick" Truesdale

Merl Richard Truesdale (known as Rick), age 52, graduated from West Liberty in 1991. He lived in Urbana, OH passed away at Springfield Mercy Hospital on Saturday May 11th, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones. 

Merl was born in Marysville on February 2nd, 1972 to the late Robert Paul Truesdale Sr. and Pauline Francis Truesdale, also preceded in death by step brother, Victor Ramey and Step sister, Sandra Freeze. He is survived by his brother, Robert Paul Truesdale Jr.(Wife Julie Truesdale) of Bellefontaine, nieces Rebecca Truesdale(Josh), Taylor Truesdale, Abby Truesdale, Haylee Levan and Nephew, Wyatt LeVan all of Bellefontaine and Step sister, Debra Norviel of Virginia, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

He loved hunting for deer, fishing and riding his Harley Davidson when he could. He enjoyed being with his family and friends. If anyone knew Rick they'd know how stubborn, funny and just what a great guy he was but most of all how proud and happy his family made him.
