Norma Jean Boysel

Norma Jean Boysel, age 90 of Urbana, Ohio passed away on March 21, 2026. She was born November 9, 1935 in Urbana, Ohio, the daughter of the late Leslie and Hazel (Roach) Allison.

Jean is survived by her children, Cindy (Jon) Devier and Debbie (Ken) Loffing, grandchildren; Seth Borland, Chance (Becky) Loffing, Cheyney (Lauren) Loffing, Caitlan Loffing, great-grandchildren; Norah Borland, Wyatt Loffing, Vincent Loffing, Sadie Loffing, Ellie Loffing, and Carter Loffing, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Along with her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Edwin Boysel Sr., son, Harold Edwin Boysel Jr., grandson, Ian Borland, and 7 siblings. Jean enjoyed gardening and working in her yard. She was also part of two bowling leagues in St. Paris and Urbana. Above all, she had the most fun spending time with her family and friends.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 11:00-1:00 PM at the Walter and Lewis Funeral Home, Urbana. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM, also at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dementia Society of America in Jean’s honor.
