Patricia Ann "Pat" Dunlavy

Patricia Ann “Pat” Dunlavy, 89, of Urbana, peacefully passed away in her home on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. She was born on January 9, 1937, in Champaign County, a daughter of Theodore and Mary (Woodruff) Spellman.

Pat enjoyed watching soap operas and reading romance novels. She also enjoyed long car rides, traveling and loved cooking.

Pat is survived by her children, Donna Kelty (Daniel) of Vermont, Kathy Dilts (Kenneth Daniels) of Urbana and Ronald Dunlavy of Urbana; grandchildren, Jennifer Kelty, Brian Dilts, Andrew Dilts, Alan Dilts and Amy Doggett (Kris); great grandchildren, Myah Brown, Bella Stevens, Emmi Stevens, Brady Dilts, Baileigh Doggett and Delanie Doggett.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Donald L. Dunlavy. He was the boy next door whom she married on May 12, 1956. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Mary Spellman; a grandson, Christopher Kelty; brother, Charles “Chuck” Spellman and a sister, Ginger Litenberger.

Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Tuesday, March 10, 2026, in the Walter & Lewis Funeral Home, 642 S. Main Street, Urbana, OH with funeral services at 10:00AM Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana, OH.
