Penny Jo Brewer

Penny Jo Brewer, born on April 10, 1959, in Urbana, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2025, in Springfield, Ohio.

Penny attended Triad High School and was an enthusiastic supporter of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Bengals, sharing her passion for football with family and friends. Her love for the outdoors translated into her favorite hobbies, which included doing yard work and spending time outside.

As a member of the Urbana Moose Lodge, Penny built lasting friendships and connections that were pivotal to her social life. However, nothing brought her more joy than being with her grandchildren. They were the pride of her heart, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Penny is survived by her loving mother, Beverly Nichols; son, Shane (Angie) Brewer and their children, Hunter Quesinberry, Haley Quesinberry, Jacob Quesinberry, Riane Brewer; son, Shawn (Amber) Brewer and their children, Kayli, Khali, Ella, and Jaxson; and her sister, Vickie Hooper.

Penny was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Souders, and her two brothers, Tim Souders and Rodney Souders.

Penny touched the hearts of many and her joyful spirit will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. She leaves a remarkable legacy and her warmth will be forever missed but never forgotten.
