Rebecca S. Harvey

Rebecca S. Harvey, 71, of Urbana, passed away, Monday, January 19, 2026. She was born January 29, 1954, in Troy, Ohio, a daughter of Dwaine and Elizabeth (Ervin) Harvey.

Rebecca was a graduate of Miami East High School and enjoyed participating in activities with the residents of Vancrest of Urbana where she resided for many years.

She is survived by a daughter, Amanda Purtee; son, Matthew Purtee; sisters, Tracy (Jim) White; brothers, James “Jim” (Deanna) Harvey, Ronnie Wilson and Joe (Teressa) Harvey.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Adams; her parents, Dwaine Harvey and Elizabeth Wilson; and brothers, David “Herbie” Harvey, Jerry Wilson and James “Bud” Wilson.
