Robert "Bob" L. Wilson

Robert “Bob” L. Wilson, 77, of Urbana, died July 5, 2013 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born February 8, 1936 in Watkins, OH, the son of Ernest & Valeta (Winston) Wilson. He graduated from Raymond High School, and retired from Cooper Energy Services in Springfield, OH. He enjoyed western novels, puzzles and evening drives. Robert was a good, honest person. Robert is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lillian (Rodgers) Wilson who he married Oct 26, 1968, step-daughter, Brenda Durand of Urbana, step-grandchildren, Jane Erin Hatcher, David Durand and Kellen Durand. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-son Robert Hatcher, sister Helen Lewis and brother Kenneth Wilson. Family will receive friends from noon-1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main St., Urbana, followed by a service at 1 p.m. with Reverend Nancy Hardin officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mutual, OH.
