Robert Eugene "Bob" Atchison

Robert Eugene Bob Atchison, 62, of Urbana, died at 2:10 a.m. on Sunday, January 25, 2015 in his residence. He was born February 13, 1952 in Urbana, a son of Vaughn Robert and Vera Jean (Evans) Atchison. Bob served in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1969-1971. Survivors include his wife, Esta Huffman; daughters Teresa (Mike) of Bellefontaine, Patricia of MO; sons, Jamie of MO, Timmy and Bobby, both of Morehead, KY; stepsons Patrick (Ida) of DeGraff, Robert (Carmen) of North Lewisburg, Donnie (Paula) of Urbana; 7 grandchildren; several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and step great- great grandchildren; sisters Connie (David) Boggs of Urbana, Kathy Carrington of Columbus, Judy (Mark) Lewis of Urbana; brothers, William (Helen) Atchison, Danny (Lisa) Atchison, of Urbana and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Christopher and a stepson Leonard. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2015 at the Oak Dale Cemetery Shepherd Mausoleum, with Lay Minister, Lisa Atchison, officiating.
